At CNBC’s Delivering Alpha Investors Conference this week, the founder of the $27-billion Elliott Management Fund, the 17th largest hedge fund in the world, mentioned that at current prices gold is “undervalued” and “underrepresented in many portfolios as the only … store of value that has stood the test of time.”
Singer, along with numerous other hedge-fund managers, has been increasingly outspoken in his criticism of the Federal Reserve and other central banks for creating dangers in the market unlike any in what he terms the “5,000 year-ish” history of finance. Singer noted that “it’s a very dangerous time in the global economy and global financial markets.”
This quote is frighteningly similar to the response given by Donald Trump on Fox Business not long ago when he was asked if he had money in the market. He answered, “I did, but I got out,” and then went on to say that he expected “very scary scenarios” for investors.
For eons, shamans, saints, mystics and people of advanced spiritual knowledge have used nature’s sounds and light from fire to enter higher states of consciousness. Shamans have long taught that nature is a doorway to the spiritual world.
Did you know that being in nature slows our brain waves helping us to reach deeper sub-conscious mind states? It’s worth noting that enlightened teachers, such as Jesus, Buddha, and Mohammed, all spent time alone in the wilderness.
By spending even a few hours alone in nature, you can enter a predominant alpha mind state. And, being alone in the wilderness for extended periods of time can entrain your brain to be predominantly in theta and delta. As you immerse yourself in the sounds, colors and smells of nature, your brain waves change to be in sync with the frequencies of nature. The natural frequency of earth is about 7.8 Hz.
In my book, Brain Power: Boost Your Health, Happiness and Spiritual Growth With Practical Tools That Supercharge Your Mind Powers (a mini book on Kindle), I explain how slowing down our brain wave states can help us heal faster, manifest faster and even age slower!
Scientists are now confirming what the ancient ones have known for eons: nature is a powerful healer…
September 2016–It is a month of “getting your ducks in a row”, finishing projects, handling details, finally getting to what you have procrastinated, and making choices about what stays and what goes.
There are a couple of subthemes and important influences we will be working with this month that are a necessary part of “taking care of business”. One is PROCRASTINATION. You know who you are, those of you who make a habit of procrastinating. Whatever the reasons behind your procrastination, it is time to “DO IT NOW” or eliminate it from your life completely. We advise making a sign of “DO IT NOW” and posting it somewhere where you are sure to see it all the time.
Because taking care of business this month includes tasks that you are way behind on, procrastination will be an influence to deal with. Procrastination holds a lot of energy. Whenever you procrastinate you spend way more energy worrying about, planning for and feeling bad, than the thing itself would take to do. People procrastinate for several reasons…
Increasingly, M.D.’s and scientists around the world are getting VERY excited about cannabis as medicine. They’re discovering the facts about how this plant interacts with the body, and why it could actually be the solution for millions of people’s health challenges.
Did you know that the human body has millions of cannabinoid receptors?
Decades of scientific research on the endocannabinoid system has resulted in the discovery of two types of cannabinoid receptors, CB1 and CB2. These receptors are found in various parts of the body, but are most prominent in the brain and immune system.
The fact that the cells in your body have millions of cannabis receptors implies that our DNA is built for cannabis use. Interesting that the human body has no alcohol receptors! NONE.
Millennials are on track to be the least entrepreneurial generation in recent history. The share of people under 30 who own a business have fallen over 65% since the 1980s. This is first generation in American history that will do less well than their parents. Find out why in this video!
One of the most common triggers that gets us into a self-destructive mood is self-pity. Self-pity is an easy trap to fall into and even warriors can get trapped. A “poor me” mindset weakens you emotionally, spiritually and financially!
Do YOU Indulge in Self-Pity?
Ask yourself these two questions to know if you indulge in self-pity: Do you generally blame others or things out there when you feel unhappy about your life? Do you tend to continually whine about what you’re not happy about? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you’re stuck in the “poor me” world.
Avoid the “poor me” world completely. The warrior does not go there. When you indulge in self-pity, you attract people and circumstances that weaken you. Self-pity saps your energy and hampers your ability to manifest what you deeply long for. It feeds other heavy emotions, such as discouragement, anxiety and worry–all of which further decrease your personal power to manifest!
If you’ve been reading the monthly commentaries for a while, you’ll know that they serve to help you build your personal power. Each month we have opportunities to bid for more power. While the underlying theme is always about empowering yourself, each month has a different flavor…a different theme.
The main theme for August is building your inner power through COLLABORATION.
The time for going about it alone is over. We are fully entering the cycle of relationship orientation, and if we are to survive and accomplish what we are here to do, we need to collaborate not only with others but ourselves as well. How often do we sabotage ourselves when the heart wants to proceed but the mind has other ideas? Or when the mind has an idea but the heart is frozen in fear? Or when the body simply refuses to cooperate?
This is perhaps the place to start, the collaboration between all of your complex personal aspects: personality, body, mind, heart and spirit.
In the first half of this video, Max Keiser interviews Jeff Berwick of the Dollar Vigilante about Americans renouncing their citizenship as a solution to bank embargoes and double taxation. More and more Americans are leaving America to live abroad like in Costa Rica, where cost of living is lower. How easy is it to establish a new home abroad? In this video, find out.
Here’s a great post about natural & easy ways to detox your body. I can’t write enough about body cleanses because increasing environmental toxins affect us all. I am sure you can start using at least one of these tips today!
What exactly is a detox?
Simply put, a detox is a process in which a person makes lifestyle changes to clear their body of toxins. These lifestyle changes typically involve abstaining from certain harmful things and optimizing body processes. Some changes are temporary, such as a following a cleansing diet, others are permanent.
Toxins are any substance that can be poisonous or cause negative health effects. “Toxin” refers to all the metals, chemicals, pollutants, artificial food ingredients, pesticides, and poisons that cause the body harm. “Toxin” is a very broad term and it’s even, unfortunately, become a bit of a buzzword to some. Artificially created chemicals can be toxins, but naturally occurring substances can be toxic, too. Arsenic is a natural toxin. Technically, so is cobra venom (though you’re less likely to find this contaminating your town’s water supply).
We are in constant contact with harmful organisms and pollutants. They’re in our water, in our food, in the air we breathe… it’s very difficult to get away from them. The source of many health issues is the toxins that have built up in our bodies over the years…
Under intense lobbying by Monsanto (and with the support of Whole Foods and other food traitors), the US Senate passed the dreaded GMO “anti-labeling” law that outlaws GMO labeling nationwide.
